Anything interesting is food for the camera. I am always amazed by the beauty within my surroundings. Once I start photographing I see fascinating things wherever I turn.
My photographs often highlight geometric forms and repeating triangles, 45 degree, angular planes of light, water and rocks, turned abstract.
I love the incongruity of rusted objects, which, are set against natural materials and the metamorphosis of ordinary objects worn by time or the elements.
I enjoy capturing an unexpected moment or expression in someone’s day.
I use a Nikon D-50 digital camera.
I hope the result of my work transforms varied subject matter – ranging from small objects to architectural tableaux to panoramic landscapes – through selection of unique
perspectives and compositions. My goal is to present a novel and
intimate engagement for the viewer.
